PEARL BEATRICE MITTEN was born in Decatur County, August 25, l882, and died of consumption, Feb. l8, l898. She was a great sufferer for four years, but bore it with Christian patience. The funeral services were conducted at the home on Sunday afternoon by the Rev. Geo. Winterbourne, Pastor of the Methodist Episcopal Church, assisted by the Rev. J.A. Baxter, of the Baptist Church. The sermon was preached from John l3:7, "What I do Thou Knowest not of; but Thou Shalt Know Hereafter." The remains were laid to rest in the Leon Cemetery to await the resurrection morn.
CARD OF THANKS -- We desire to thank the friends and neighbors who assisted and sympathized with us in our great bereavement.
