Of course, MITCHELL is a very common surname, so the next thing, is to find a common ancestery.
My great-grandmother was a Mitchell, and her family was living in southern Indiana in the 1800's, and had moved from the Woodford/Franklin Co., KY. area.They were Irish immigrants.
