Mary Lou, I believe I am somehow related to the John and Elizabeth McAllister Mitchell Family of Union, Kentucky. My Union, Ky. family sur-names are Morrow, Pulliam, Dills Dilbeck, Hendrix, Vaughn, and Mitchell among others. I believe my 4th g grandfather (Daniel Morrow) was married twice: 1. to a Mitchell with off-spring of a son named John "Mitchell" Morrow (b. 1812 Union, Ky. and married Rebecca Pernecy Llewellyn 2 Nov 1837 Union, Ky.) and 2. to a Mrs. Sarah Pulliam Davis (my line). On the Union, Ky. Genealogy Forum, Carol Krajnik posted an inquiry (inquiry # 132) on 16 Aug 2001 about the marriage of Henry Mitchell to a Miss Margaret Pulliam (daughter of Joseph Pulliam) on 4 Oct 1838 Union, Ky. The witnesses for the marriage were Henry Mitchell and Richard Dye. These individuals are some of my ancestors. Do these individuals, places, and dates figure into your Mitchell Family data of Union, Ky. I would be pleased to correspond with you if you care to respond.
Best Wishes Richard Walker
