St. Charles (Kane County, Illinois) Chronicle, May 23, 1902, Local Happenings: John H. Mitchell of Baker City, Oregon, and sister, Mrs. W. G. Parr of Chicago, visited the latter's daughter, Mrs. W.S. Doig, this week. Mr. Mitchell went to Oregon 52 years ago, and had never returned until this visit, which he is enjoying very much. He is in the mining business in Oregon, and has been quite successful. (Posted as a courtesy from an old newspaper, not related.)
