No I didn't have any of this info.I wonder if the name Beniah (Benagah) DOW is American Indian by any chance?
The reason I ask is because my Hannah MITCHELL (whose maiden name might actually be Thomas (Tomah...very sketchy info on her), may have had a son named Joseph D. born c1815 in ME or Canada he claimed both as his place of birth. He claims his mother was Hannah but I'm not 100% sure yet.
He was an Indian doctor in Lowell, MA for many years.
But his middle initial being "D." and he always used it, either as J. D. Moody, "John" D. Moody or Joseph D. Moody, I have no idea what it stands for.
"Dow" could be possible.
