Thankyou for posting the extensive Nicholas and Jane McClain family information. It will help a lot of Misener/Misner/Mizener researchers.

Correspondence with another Mizener researcher also revealed the problem.

In reviewing my notes from this past week, I believe that someone later incorrectly added Nicholas and Jane McClain as their parents to Karl Mizener's handwritten research filed at Brome County Historical Society. I will be sure to add a copy of your email to that file when I return.

Siblings Elizabeth Matilda, Garret, Christopher, Peter and Philip Spencer Mizener appear to be the ancestors of the St. Armand/Bolton Mizeners.

So the mystery remains, who are their parents?
