I agree about the middle names. I also found it very interesting that the descendants of Lansing Bond (who died in Detroit, MI) and Henry Caldwell (died 1829 Monroe Co, IL) continued to name their children after good friends and family members.....BUT..... did not name any of their children Lawrence or Sarah or use the COOK name at all. After the death of Lawrence, Sarah and the 2 boys moved with her sister and family to Geneva, NY where she died in 1820.
