No I am not of that Joseph Miron. My great grandfather was born in St. Polycarpe, QP. He married marie Louise Hurtubise in Clarence Creek, Ont. and came to the U.S. with six of his children and settled in Oconto Falls, WI.
I do have the Migneron dit Miron line back to 1636. The first Migneron of my family came from the Mougon Poitou region of France and are buried in Ste. Foy, QP.
