Thank you Ray, for your note on the Minges/Minze families. Although, I am not a decendant of these particular families, I wanted to reply with the connection I have, which includes Margaret Buttram-who married Joseph, Sr. Margaret was the daughter of my 6th GGrandparents, William Buttram I and Margaret unknown. Margaret Buttram Minges died 27 Dec. 1787 in Rowan Co., NC. Margaret was a sister to my 5th GGrandfather, Andrew Buttram, born June 1768, also in Rowan Co., NC. Sophronia Butrem is also probably connected to William Buttram I and Margaret-but not sure just where she fits in with the decendants of their children. My particular Buttram line-became Butrum and eventually settled in Iowa. Trying to find ancestors, I have also researched on the Minges, etc. families, so happy to see some futher information on the decendants. If anyone is interested in more info on Margaret Buttram Minges-syblings, etc., I can be of further help on that. Just contact me.

Dee
