I am also searching for more information on Israel Miniard's family. My grandmother's sister (Nannie Fee) was married to a Chester Miniard, believed to be the son of James and Serena Lewis Miniard. I also just recieved a picture of Nannie and Chester from a relative I found. If anyone would like a copy, please let me know and I'll email you one and any info you may have on them and their children would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Nannie died at the age of 18 in 1924 and Chester and her had a 3 year old daughter at the time of her death.

I did recieve some info about him from a nice lady and this is what she told me:

The three brothers, Iseral, Solomon and John --- perhaps my line is out of the John - haven't any way of verifying that, just assuming since so many "Johns" are in the family. I have info on the following:

Iseral married Mary Polly Turner and they had several children, one being a James who married Serena Lewis.
James and Serena had:

Alice born 9 April 1887
James born 3 March 1890
Maggie born 1892
Chester August 1894
William 1897
Serena Oct 1898

Chester with 2 children - no dates - no wife's name and the children are Edna and Waldie.

This is the family of Iseral Miniard that eventually settled on Greasy Creek in Kentucky. Supposedly Iseral moved from Oklahoma to Tennessee, to North Carolina, then to Kentucky.
