Hi Mintons,
I am trying to solve the ancestery of these 5 Minton children, born between 1816 and 1827, somewhere between New Jersey and Ohio. (My information on William, probably the oldest of the 5, was that he was b. in PA, but I know the family eventually ended up in Miami or Montgomery Co., OH.)
The parents of these children were Jacob and Rebecca ___ Minton, both b. in the 1790s. I have been going under the belief that Jacob was the son of John and Rebecca Fairchild Minton, but recently that information has been thrown into doubt. My Jacob Minton died and is buried in Highland Cemetery, Covington, OH.
Any decendents of William, Mary, Sarah Jane, Robert or David who can help me with my Jacobs? (My line comes through this William, and his son, David L. Minton.)
