Lois,
the young boy Benjamin Minter is my g/g/grandfather.
On the 1860 Census Benjamin is listed in Palmyra, Fluvana Co., VA with his wife Mary A. They only had 2 children a son John Henry Minter born Jan 16, 1861 & died in the summer of 1938.Daughter Sally died at age of 5. Cause of death possible drowning. So this Sally age 40 in 1860 could have been Benjamin''s mother. Would like to have any updates,
