Lincoln County, Tennessee Minors

I have run into a brick wall with one "Anna H. M." who was born in 1812 in South Carolina and was married in 1829 in Tennessee, and died in Arkansas (Augusta, Woodruff county)

I don't "know" that her maiden name was Minor, I only suspect her last name was Minor because one of her sons was named George M. Simmons and she had a daughter named Julie Louise Simmons who named her son George MINOR Simmons.

Just a wild guess based on a hunch because of other past experiences I've had with "Old Southern naming conventions"

Anyway Anna H.M. married John Jefferson Simmons in 1829 in Tennessee and their first born child (that we know of) was born John Thomas Simmons 26 SEP 1830 in Lincoln County, Tennessee. (based on family bible info)

anyone connected? good hunch? what do ya think?
