Hi, I am part of a group of researchers who are trying to collect info on all the War of 1812 & the Civil War Veteran's of Monroe Co.
William H. Minor has connections with Monroe Co. and we have very sketchy infor on him & would love to have more information - birth, burial, parents names, birth/death/burial - wife(s) & her birth, death, burial and subsequent marriage if any & her parents (names, birth.death/burial0 & children. If you think you have information on him please contact me and I will be glad to exchange info.
We have his service record and he died October 9, 1863 at PADUCAH, KY
We are fortunate to have funding for our book and can include photos and all letters/diaries, etc. that pertain to the War.
If you have any info on these men, or if you believe that any info I sent you is incorrect, please let me know. Pictures, etc would be very welcome.
