Hello Margaret, Wanted to ask for a little more information... You wrote in an earlier posting that Frances Ellen Allin, wife of Robert H. Graham, "married husband Robert's cousin, William H. Minix on July 14, 1873." Can you please tell me which William H. Minix this William happens to be??? Robert's mother, Elizabeth Minnix, had a brother, William Henry Minnix, but he would be an uncle of Robert H. Graham, so I'm guessing the William H. Minix you mentioned is the son of Charles Nathaniel, James C., or John Minnix, Elizabeth's younger brothers -- or another Minnix family altogether!!! Also, per the 1850 Dekalb, AL census record, Robert H. Graham was the 4th child of Capt. Gideon Graham and Elizabeth Minnix. There's is a thought that Gideon and Elizabeth Graham's first child was a girl born about 1840, but nothing more is known about this daughter. She must have died sometime after the 1840 census was taken because she does not appear on the 1850 with Gideon and Elizabeth Graham. So, if that is accurate, then that would make Robert H. Graham a 5th child. Can you tell me about another child that was born before Robert H. Graham which would make him the 6th child??? By the 1860 Coryell, Texas census, Robert is shown as 11 years old, the 4th child listed. Two younger children are also now in the family. Please contact me at your earlier convenience. I'll be happy to share what information I have. Hopefully, you have some information I don't have. Thanks, Pam psb454@cox.net Notify Administrator about this message?
