My ggg-grandfather was Hiram Thomas Minks born 4/10/1810 in Carter County, Tn and died February 25,1875 in Pike County, Indiana where he is buried in the Williams Cemetery, Winslow, Indiana. His parents were John Mink and Nancy Wilson.

Hiram's sons were Alvah, Francis Marion, Thomas P., Andrew Bain (all with Nancy) and James Andrew (with Eunice). Only Andrew had children and his only son was Thomas Alvin Minx, my grandfather. He had 7 children with Nancy and 6 with Eunice.

How are you related to Hiram? I would love to see your information. Could you tell me where you got the nickname "Bandy" I have seen it before and don't know its origin.
