John Henry Mingus

Seeking the final resting place of John H. Mingus who was born in N.C. then moved to Iowas where he married Maggie Herron and had two children Clarence Eugene Mingus and William Mingus. I have established that John H. Mingus applied for a homestead in May of 1906 of 160 acres. The land office was CASS Lake, but I believe the property is in Hubbard Co. Minn. I have not finished looking at the 1910 census images, so really don't know if he lived past 1910. He was always interested in school board affairs and taught several times and places. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you Georgine
