Hi,
I have just recently stumbled across this site and saw your posting. Your grandfather Ernest Minnett was my uncle. As you noted, he had a brother Alfred, however they had 5 sisters, not 3. In order of age, their sisters were Doris, Marie (who moved to New York), Edith, Frances (my mother), and Grace. I only met your grandfather once, and that was when he had visited my brother Ron in 100 Mile House while my mother, myself and my husband were all visiting. I know my mother visited your grandparents at their home and met their children, so likely had met your father at the time.
I don't know if you'll see this or not, but let me know if you do and I'll try to answer any questions you and your father have. My maiden name is Donnelly which may be familiar to your father.
Hope to hear from you,
Jo-Ann
