hi mike,

my name is Pennie Louise Minett and my Grandad was from england. unfortunatly i do not have very much information about him as my dad's side of the family have never really spoken too much about their history.

my grandad died about 5 years ago here in australia. My dad is first generation Australian. i believe my eldest sister, Amie, did attempt to find out some information on our family history, as she travelled t england and lived there for almost a year two years ago, however i am unsure as to how far the search got. all i can offer is the little information i have. i am number four of four children from Allan John Minett and Susan Elsie Crabtree, my dad is number two of two from John * Minett and Denise * *. i know that my grandad had brothers and/or sisters, but as i said, we were never given any information.

anyway, i just felt i should send this post as i stumbled upon yours and was quite curious as to what information you may have found, and to see if what little information i can offer could be of importance.

best wishes

Pennie Minett
