Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Frank C. Miner was a direct descendant of Thomas Minor b. 1608 in Chew Magna, England. Thomas emigrated to the New World in 1629 at the age of 21 and eventually helped to found the town of Stonington, Connecticut. The Thomas Minor Society is a very active group today and has a wealth of information (tmsociety.org).
