I've been trying to trace my great great grandfather and his sister. Robert MINCHIN was born in 1835 in Toddington, Gloucestershire. His sister Mary Ann was born in 1837 in Winchcombe, GLS.
Unfortunately, their birth certificates only show the name of the mother, Ely PINCHIN, but not their father. Ely married when they were teenagers. She married John CHAPLIN and then bore him a son William and a daughter Betsy.
Robert married Phoebe SALLIS in 1862. Mary Ann married Richard POWELL in 1859.
Any help would be gratefully appreciated.
