I am looking for any information on the family of John Squires Minchin from Ireland. I know he fought in Venezuela in the 1820s and was vice-consul for the Azores (Fayal). He had daughters named Charlotte Jane and Ellen Eliza. Charlotte Jane married Jasper Byng Creagh. Ellen Neynoe (b. 1828) and Matilda Neynoe (b. 1827) were his neices. Their father was Capt. Joseph Neynoe. Ellen Neynoe married Jasper Creagh after her cousin Charlotte died. I am particularly interested in finding out who Capt. Neynoe's wife was and when they married. Presumably it was John Minchin's sister. Her name was probably Jane. I am also interested in his parents, etc.
