I think that there was furniture made in Norwich, CT in the Colonial period. One of the Perkins girls married a Minard and I think he is the Timothy Minard who went to that part of the country. The Perkins lived in New London & Norwich, CT. Much communication along the shoreline so it is quite possible your James could have married Abigail Camp. There are earlier Camp-Minard connections in New London. Virgil Huntley
