Thank you for posting this as you believed it to be true but lots of this is absolutely bunk. Although it was taken from "Leaves from the Mims Family Tree," does not make the research full proof. This is where all the families of Darlington SC get their wrong information and also the wrong lineage for Thomas Mims and Mary Wright.
People will add middle names to names when a middle name is never on any legal document or source anywhere.
I gave up hope of correcting Richard Mims long ago because everybody had this information and no one wanted to change.
