ELIZABETH MIMS AND ANDREW DUBOSE

According to MIMS researchers, and others, Elizabeth Mims born abt 1750/60, and died April 29, 1827 in Darlington County, SC. Said to have married Andrew DuBose Jr.May 4, 1775.There is a lot of information on this DuBose family.

Who were Elizabeth MIMS parents? Were they from Darlington SC?
I have just one child's name for Andrew and Elizabeth Mims DuBose....a son John DuBose born abt 1784 and died abt 1860.
He was said to have married Mary Polk.One researcer has Mary's parents as Thomas Polk and Lucy Moore. ANOTHER Polk researcher claims that Mary's last name was NOT Polk!
I would like to know what others think of this.
