I am trying to trace my Great Great Grandfather Elbert Daniel Milton. I only know of his later life. In 1900, he lived in Texas with wife Margaret Josephine, children: Zella, and Elton, and Grand children: Effie and John Taylor. In 1900, he was in his early 70's and claimed to have been born in North Carolina. Depending on the census' I have found, his father was born in either North or South Carolina, or Ireland. I have been unable to find a definate connection prior to 1900 as the 1890 census is paractically non existent. The closest possibility I have found is an E D Milton married to a C Luvina, but have found no record of her death, or his remarriage. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you
