I am looking for any information on a Frank Milne who died in 1896 (not certain where) and Lilly Wood born in Ellon, Aberdeen, Scotland 8 August 1867, died Bulawayo, Rhodesia 3 October 1939 as a Mortley (remarried)
Her parents were George Wood and Isabella Valentine.
She had 2 children from this marriage:
Gertrude Lilly Milne
Bertram George Milne - he was born in Aberdeen about May 1890 and died in Cape Town, South Africa on 3 August 1948.
These children both had their names changed back to their mother's name of Wood after their father died in 1896.
If there is a marriage record of Frank Milne & Lilly Wood in Aberdeen, this would help. He may be Frank, or Frank Bertie, or William Frank Milne. I have found records for these possibilities.
