GEO. A. MILNE
Mr. Geo A. Milne, the well-known merchant tailor, occupies the whole of
the first floor of the large brick building at No. 72, Kent-st. He has
been established in business for ten years, and gives employment to a
large staff of efficient workman. He carries a very large stock of both
Imported and Domestic goods, being a direct importer, making a trip
annually himself to England for that purpose, and so is enabled to secure
the middleman’s profits. He does an immense trade locally, and has many
customers in the outside towns and Toronto, sending clothes to
customers as far west as the Pacific Coast. Mr. Milne has resided in Lindsay
for the past fifteen years, and has built up for himself a high
reputation as a first-class Fashionable Tailor and Cutter, with all of whom he
is highly popular.
