Similarly, a Simon or Simeon MILLS listed as of Scotland, B; ca 1670 ?? says was father to William MILLS who had James MILLS who married Rebecca HICKS.
Could Abraham be a descendant line of Simon/Simeon MILLS?
Alternately, others have linked this Simon/Simeon to the Simon MILLS - Mary BUELL - Simon/Simeon MILLS - Sarah BISSELL of Connecticut.
Not sure, have not heard back yet from my post em, where that party found that ??? documented?? information of that connection.
Of my own research do NOT recall seeing those of Connecticut that came down to North Carolina or Maryland.
But that was then, and this is now. . . . . . . . .
This line of MILLS seems to be on web site. www.genetree.com as a 29/37 marker match to my MILLS descendant.
DO NOT KNOW if it is the MILLS part that is the matching in that they share a Common Ancestor. (MRCA). Does not say what the distance may be on that site.
GENETREE also is going "extinct" come the first of the year. Anyone with information/data posted on it, they are recomending moving it to another gene site. i.e www.ancestry.com. or ?
That site has had several links to my MILLS descendant, about shared ancestors, etc. Found one HOWARD descendant who wrapped around and up and down and over, and around the bend, so to speak, to a John MILLS - Celiann NATION, son of James MILLS B: ca 1800 of PA who married the two GUSTIN ladies of Warren Co OH and Madison Co IN.
James descendant, also a DNA Match to my MILLS descendant on markers, exact, pretty much. www.familytreedna.com under MILLS, Kit #33009 as George.
