Vail - Mills
Marion E. Vail b. 9 Nov 1886 McDonough Co., IL; married Blanch(e) Mills 12 Mar 1913 Franklin Co., KS.
Blanche Mills b. 8 Nov 1889 probably in Miami Co. KS. Blanche was a daughter of James Linzy Mills and Mary Ann Gooderick/Goodrich. The Vail family lived in Richmond, Franklin Co., KS 1915, then to Rantoul, KS.
I don't find the death date or cemetery of Marion E. Vail in Franklin Co. Does anyone know of his death? His wife Blanche died Apr 1968 Rantoul, KS.
The children of Marion and Blanche Vail:
1- Erma Evelyn Vail b. 1914 KS
2- Ila Mae Vail b. abt 1916 KS and she graduated from Rantoul High School 1933.
3- Harold D. Vail b. abt 1919 KS.
4- Doris E. Vail b. abt 1921 KS.
5- Emma Jane Vail b. 1930, probably in Rantoul, Franklin Co., KS.
My interest is that Blanche Mills father (James Linzy Mills) was a brother of my g gm Amanda Mills White. Amanda Mills married Nathan White and lived in Lane, Franklin Co., KS.
