Hello Robert:
I see that the information I compiled came from the information at one time on the data base of Fred KRAUSS, who had received information from another party. At that time, apparently there was not birth dates for Andrew or William when I compiled them together on my own MISC MILLS FILES.
Now see that I posted a reply onto www.rootsweb.ancestry.com on his data base 12 2007, about the family information.
But now see that there are birth dates for Andrew G (GIBBS) MILLS, as 1773. Which cannot be as William C is listed as born in ca 1784. Which would make Andrew only 11 (Eleven) years old fathering a child. DO NOT THINK SO.
Also, others have the son of Andrew G MILLS now as William T MILLS born much later on.
Possibly those reserchers and you may confer and come together and sort out your William MILLS'.
Again, possibly William C is a brother and or cousin to the same MILLS lines.????
Sorry, at the time way back in prior years I was not as good about posting from where I found some of my information.
But now with going back and looking at those old data bases, and then looking at my notes, brought forth some clarity.
Hope this may help a tiny bit.
Also if you know of the present day male or female descendant who might consider doing a DNA test, would also help 'bunches", toward that end.
