really very interesting, as now has a link with Elias BOUDINOUT/BOUDINOT, and other related surnames, GULICK, JOHNSON, GIBSON, etc. of which I read a lot earlier on when first doing my MILLS of Ohio.
I had thought maybe that is where the "Elias" came from in my family of MILLS in New Jersey.
But also cold be "biblical" as well, for Elijah.
Yes, will try to keep up as can, while in process of relocating.
