I suspect that J H Mills was James. His grandfather was James Cole. Originally the Coles were from Douglass in Nacogdoches county but moved to the Rosebud area around 1908 looking for better farming, but were washed out. Fannie Cole probably met L H Mills there and was married to him in the 1910 census--his first, her second. She had been married to my mother's uncle O D Gage. There was apparently one child from this marriage, Odis Delbert Gage.By 1930 he was listed as O D Mills. They had another child JH. My main interest is in finding out if the Mills family had any info on Orma D Gage. I have a death certificate for O D Mills but he never married.
