I am a descendant of David L. Milliner of Saline County, Arkansas. What information I have was gleaned from Dennis Rodman and Nix and others. I started late in gathering information about the Milliners.
My father was Arthur J. Milliner and Myrtle Vermont McCain.
My grandfather was Joseph Zany Milliner and Elizabeth McCalley.
My great grandfather was David L. Milliner and Carolina White.
David's brothers were: Jefferson and John C. Milliner. The three of them were recruited into I Company on 1 July 1846 and fought in the Mexican-American War at Buena Vista. David began receiving an $8.00 poension from the War Department.
At present that is all I have.
