Hi Tom,
I too have been searching/researching John and Isabella Milliken as they are my great-great grandparents.I believe that they both are buried in Lincoln County TN somewhere between Petersburg,TN and Booneshill,TN.This is the general area where some of their ancesters later lived.I have searched the cemetery records for both Lincoln Co.and Bedford Co.(Lincoln Co.was formed from Bedford Co.in 1810)and found no information about their gravesites.I suspect that they are buried in unmarked graves.
The dates of deaths for John and Isabella that you provide correspond exactly to the dates that I have.However, the date birth of Isabella as being 1735 is probably way too early.According to my family history,my great grandfather,Samuel Doak Milliken was born 2 June 1789 ( census records say that he was born in TN but TN did not become a State until 1790 so maybe he was born in NC).In any event Isabella would have been about 54 when Samuel was born which I believe is much to old to "bear" children.I suspect that Isabella was born somewhere around 1766 as John and Isabella had another child by the name of Virginia Jane "Jenny" Milliken born 27 Dec 1802.Again the birth date of 1766 for Isabella is only an approximate one. I do agree that Isabella Is probably a daughter of Samuel DoakII.
