Looking for parents and location of birth for Allen S. Millikan, farmer and Civil War veteran (Co.B 154th Reg., Indiana Infantry), born 12/12/1827 in Ohio according to census info and died 9/1/1894 in cemetery records. He married Susannah Frazier (daughter of John and Lydia Frazier)on March 22, 1849 in Boone Co., IN. Her father John Frazier was born 2/7/1792 and died 3/17/1854. She was also born in Ohio.
Their son Flavius Millikan, b. 4/29/1852 in Thorntown, Boone Co., IN is our relative. There were surely other siblings, but I have no knowledge of them. I have a Boone Co. 1850 census record that may have an older brother John A. Millikan born in March 1850, but can't connect it yet.
Flavius married Alice B. Venis on 2/28/1893 in Thorntown, and they had an infant who died in 1894, a son William Evertt Bruce Millikan (our line) b. 12/11/1894, and daughter Iva/Ina/Ivy I. Millikan.
