The Record-Tribune Jackson County KS Thursday November 2, 1905 Isabel MILLIGAN, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.S.T. Milligan, died very suddenly Oct. 24, 1905, at the home of her brother and sister, 1 1/4 miles northeast of Denison. She was born July 5, 1871, in Ohio and united with the R.P. church at this place at the age of 12 years. She has been an invalid for several years as the result of a severe attack of inflammatory rheumatism. She had felt as well as usual on the day of her death and passed away as quicly and quietly as the leaf touched by autumn frost falls from the tree. She possessed a kindly disposition and an excellent education and her death will be lamented by a host of friends here and in the east where she has made her home for several years. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. D.H. Elliott in the R.P. church Friday at 2 p.m., after which the remains were laid in the R.P. cemetery. end Her father was James Saurin Turretine Milligan, born VA, This it the family in 1880 Jackson Co KS.
