JAMES CRAMP MILLICAN
Posted by: Jane McLean (ID *****7404) Date: June 25, 2006 at 07:13:26

Does anyone know anything about James Cramp MILLICAN? He was born Dec Q 1862, Ratby, Leics and in Sept Q 1893, he married Annie LINFORD of Finmere, Oxfordshire.

The IGI has him christened 27 March 1881, Anstey, Leics, and his parents are named as CRAMP MILLICAN and FRANCIS.
Francis was Francis Rudkin WILLETT, daughter of Abraham WILLETT and Elizabeth RUDKIN.

James was listed as Francis's son in 1881 and 1891, and living with her sister, Thirza, in 1871.

I would love to know who Cramp MILLICAN was. All I can discover is that he was born abt 1854 in Anstey and his spouse is named as Francis, married abt 1879 Anstey. But she married John MILLICAN in 1848, and John POLLARD in 1872 following her first husband's death.

Thanks for any help.

Jane
