I am trying to find any information on my grandmother's mothers people. Her name was Sarah Francis & she had 1 known brother named John D. She was born about 1850's. She may have been born i either Texas or Oklahoma. She married one John Preston Scruggs & had 7 children, Sherman, Taylor, Marie, Bertha, Thelma & Jap. She died in 1957 or so. No further information is known of her or her people. They were of Cherokke descent. Any information would be appreciated.
