Milletts in Troy, New York 1880s

My grandfather, Andrew Millett was born in Troy, New York in 1886. He was one of 3 or 4 children, possibly a Thomas, James, and Mary(May). The oldest child may have been born in Mayo Cty, Ireland, as were both of his parents. I believe his father may have been named Patrick, but do not know his mother's name. His father died when Andrew was about 12 years old (1898), and his family moved to Hell's Kitchen New York City, NY.

He married Hazel Smith about 1815 in the New York, New Jersey area, (she was born in New City, New York) and he worked for Sears Wallpaper division. They appear on the 1920 New Jersey census, living with my grandmother's mother Annie Brown, and my gggrandfather, William Phykitt. About 1926, Sears relocated them to Chicago, IL with their 5 children.

We have mostly remained in the Chicago area since that time. I am having trouble finding passenger list information, port of departure, entrance to the USA, etc, for Partick Millett, also birth, marriage information for Andrew or Hazel. Does anyone have any suggestions where I might be able to look for more information?
