Lewis,
Thank you. I do have the on line print out for both of Eliza's marriages through ancestry.com.
I wonder if Eliza did use the middle name of Ann in her first marriage to Michael Miller or the original county clerk at the time of her marriage, who wrote the original marriage info, made a mistake and put Ann instead of Jane as her middle name ? Could be that Eliza had two middle names and did use them in her two separate marriages. Just trying to prove that Eliza had the two middle names. If she was of German decent, I would not be surprised that she had more than one middle name. I have German relatives that have their given/first name, two to three middle names, a nickname and a surname. These are usually names of their relatives handed down and or a baptismal sponsor.
I am trying to find/prove Eliza's full name and that the middle name Ann is part of her name. Eliza's daughter, Helen E. (James)Gleason's obit shows Eliza's middle name as being Jane and census info shows that the letter J and Jane is used as her middle name.
Looks like Eliza handed down her middle name of Jane to her first born daughter Mary Jane Miller, (my g-grandmother) born in Eliza's first marriage to Michael Miller. I wonder if second daughter Sarah was given Eliza's middle name, Ann ? Now to prove that Ann is part of Eliza's name.
