Michael Miller, Sr, grandfather, was born in Windsor township. He married Susan Lantz, also born in Windsor. Both buried at Freysville Union Reformed Church. Children, Frederick who married Susanna Pauls, and they had a family of 12 children, and they went to Ohio. Catharine, married ____ Kemmerly. Michael, and ___ who married __ Kehler, and they went West.

Michael Jr., was born in Windsor, he married Elizabeth Zeller. Buried at Freysville Emanuel Reformed Church. Children, Jacob married Mary P. Anstine and died in Red Lion. Mary, wife of William Gable. Susan, married Jacob Striewig. Catharine, married Samuel Leberknecth. Elizabeth, wife of Frederick Austine. Charles, married Catharine Kauffman. Michael married Catharine Stine. David married Rebecca (Gohn). Sarah. Rebeccca.

Andrew, married Dec 1857 to Elizabeth M. Lutz, d/o George W. and Maria (Mann) Lutz, of Manor township, Lancaster Co. Children; Andrew L., who married Annie Anstine, Michael who married Catharine Kauffman. Charles E., married Sallie Kauffman. George who married Ida Seitz. J.W. married Emma Stoner. Sallie A., married Thomas Wilson. Mrs. Elizabeth M. (Lutz) Miller died Dec 27, 1874, aged 43y 11m. Mr. Miller married 2nd on March 7, 1878 to Catharine Meyers, d/o Henry Meyers of Shewsbury.

Miller, David A. of Red Lion. Michael Miller, son of the original purchaser. Michael Miller lived to 88 years. His wife maiden name was Sellers.

Jacob, son Michael, was born in Windsor township. He marrid Mary Ann Anstine, her father was George Anstine, a Rev. war soldier, and her mother's maiden name was Smith. Children, three died in infancy, Catharine, married Jacob Flinchbaugh, William H., Milianda married Pius Kersey of Dallastown, Eliza Jane, Ellen, wife of Rev. G. Grover of Ohio, Jacob A., of Red Lion, and David A.

David A. married to Agnes S. Dietz in May of 1886, d/o Jacob Dietz of Hellam township. Children; Luther, died in infancy.

Miller, David Albert (Capt.) was born March 9, 1847.

John Miller, his grandfather was born and reared in Hopewell township, he married Elizabeth Trout. Both Mr. and Mrs. Miller died in what is now old Hopewell. Children; Polly who married James Anderson, Abraham, Elizabeth wife of Robert Maffett, died in IL. Anne, wfe of Ambrose McGuigan. Samuel, married Mary Howard and they died in Baltimore, MD. John married Mary Hyson. Valentine Trout, married Louisa Grim. Henry.David, married Sarah Winemiller and Margaret, wife of John Hyson.

Abraham was born in Hopewell, and he married Priscilla Howard of Baltimore, d/o Henry Howard

Miller, S. Oscar, of Jackson township, was born in Adams Co., Feb 24, 1853, s/o Samuel B. and Eliza M. (Malaun) Miller.

Isaac, paternal grandfather of S. Oscar, was a native of Maryland. He married Elizabeth Sleigel. Children; Samuel B., John, Susan who married an Osburn, Elizabeth married a Sourbeer, Maggie who married a Mertz, and Mary who married a Clink. Members of the German Baptist Church.

Samuel B. was born in Mt. Joy. Children; Isaac A., John F., S. Oscar., Benjamin M., Lemuel f., Ephraim, William H., Levi A., of Baltimore, Eliza A., Ella

S. Oscar, born in Mt. Joy, he married in 1876 to Mary A. Jacob, d/o Solomon Jacobs, native of York County. Chidren; Clayton, John F., Samuel, Luter ., Viola D., N. Bernice, Mary E., Harvey O., Charls W. and Arthur .

Miller, John Wesley, was born in 1869, in Windsor township, son of Andrew and Elizabeth (Lutz) Miller. He married Emma E. Stoner, d/o Henry and Sarah (Fahringer) Stoner, of Hellam. Members of the Heidelberg Reformed Church of York.
