Thomas Bridges & Frances Miller
Hi all,
I am looking for any information on Thomas Bridges ,whom I believe to be a relative somehow maybe a cousin to my John Bridges who was married to Margaret Vance, whom can be viewed on my website located at:http://people.ce.mediaone.net/backster/index.htmlhttp://people.ce.mediaone.net/backster/index.html .Both John and Thomas lived in the Morgan and McDonough Counties in Illinois. John was in Morgan county from 1823 to 1829 before moving on to McDonough County. THomas might have been born between 1800 to 1810.He may have come from North Carolina area before coming to Illinois.Thomas was married to Frances Miller on August 25, 1831.THey had at least 5 children, James M., Elder, Sarah, Mary, and Thomas.Below is some pieces I have gathered.I would also like to know who the M Amicy female age 79 born in North Carolina is in the 1850 McDonough County censusfurther down in this message.John Bridges died in 1844 in a farming accident as I was told by someone, I see that Thomas is not in the 1850 census, could it be that he was killed in the same accident or perhaps died other ways in the 1840's?Any information on Frances Miller would be helpful too.I have added other lists in the email address with names that are related to the Bridges.Maybe Thomas Bridges and Frances Miller might grab someone's attention.
thanks,
julie:)
