The Earl Millen residence on Horne street was struck by a bolt of lightning and badly damaged. The chimney was torn to pieces, and the interior of the house was injured. Earl was at his place of business, the West Side Lumber office, and Mrs. Millen, being alarmed, ran to the neighbors, the Schubergs, which was a very fortunate circumstance, as no doubt anyone being indoors at the time would have met instant death. The Charles Isaacson barn was also struck by lighting in the same same. The Millen house was insured. (Posted as a courtesy, not related.) Notify Administrator about this message?
