Do you know if there is a connection between this ANDREW MILLAR and an earlier Scottish book printer? ANDREW MILLAR was born in 1707, lived mostly in London, England, and died in 1768. He is best known for having published, among other prominent authors, Dr. Samuel Johnson's famous dictionary in 1755. Do you know of any family ties with ANDREW (or, possibly, ANDROW) MYLLAR who lived in Edinbugh, Scotland, during the late 1400s and early 1500s. This earlier ANDREW MYLLAR was a book printer who is most famous for having published the first book in Scotland in 1508. There must be more than simply a coincidence in surname and occupation.
