Hi Sheryl

Nice to make contact with you. If you want you can email me direct at allenb@supernerd.com.au

My Millar is James Forrester Millar, born in Edinburgh, Scotland on 11 Oct 1832 and died in Melbourne Australia on 8 Dec 1907. His parents were David Millar and Marion Young. The only Andrew Millar I have is Andrew Armit Millar and he was born in Dunedin in 1862 and died in 1929.

A lot of the Millar family moved to NZ from Scotland in the 1800's and my Mother was a Millar. Her father Robert Augustus Middlemas Millar (my Grandfather) was born in NZ and went to OZ when he was fairly young and married Emily Holt (my Gran) in 1896.

I have heaps of info about the Millar clan and I would be delighted to swap data if you wish to do so and you think that we have the same Millars. There are quite a few Millars in Australia too as they all seemed to prolific breeders.

There was a Forrest Millar who was born in NZ in 1864 and died there in 1923.

There must be 1,000's of Millars in NZ, most of whom I have never met but I do have some contacts that I email from time to time.

Regards

Allen
