Dear Tracey,
I have read your query on the Mill and I'm so excited. I', great-great granddaughter,of John Mill(s) (1838-1906) and Lucy L.Hommes (1849-1929) . I have only two children listed Phillip Mill and John Samuel Mill born 24 Nov 1872 in Landsville ,Sch. Co. Pa. married to Rebecca Jones . They married 18 Oct 1893 in Hazelton, Luzrene Co., PA ( My great grandparents)
John Samuel Mill died 14 April 1939 in Pottsville and was buried at Mt. Laurel Cemetery, Sch,. Co PA.

I didn't know that John Mill was married twice? and had all these Children?
I know that JOhn and Lucy went back to Phila and was buried in Manyank, Phila ,Pa. at Westminister Cememtery in Roxborough.
I'm trying to find out more about my Mill(s) family.
I'm trying to find out more about my greatgrand- mother Rebecca Jones Mill. She was born 2 May 1873 but don't know who her parents were? My great Aunt Mary Lucille Mills Staller said that she was born near Pottsville but her deat hcertificate says different.

JOhn Samuel Mill had 11 children. All of the children were born in Treschow, Carbon Co., Pa.
His third son was Clyde John Mill born 17 Aug 1896-d. 6 FEb. 1965 in Pottsville, Schuykill County, PA.
He had eight brothers plus himself and two sisters, Hattie had lived with her Uncle Phillip Mill.
My wish came through! I hope that I will here from you soon, dear cousin.
