I am just beginning my search on the Miles family surname. I have no documentation of the following but this is where I'm starting:
James Miles, unknown when or where he was born. He died about 1777 in Chesterfield Co, VA. He married Martha (maiden name is unknown) Nothing else is known about her.
They had a daughter Sarah Miles born about 1732 in Amelia Co, VA and died about 1820 in Chesterfield Co. VA. She married William Pilkington who was born about 1730 in Amelia County, VA.
Possible James and Martha had 3 more children: Martha, John and Elizabeth.
Hope someone can give me some leads on this family.
