I am trying to locate any surviving members of a family named Milburn who lived in Darby, Montana in and around 1900-1920's. George C. Milburn, age 70 was born in Maryland and wife Mary E. age 51 was born in Missouri.
They lived in Darby Montana according to the 1920 census. Mr Milburn was the postmaster and his wife was listed as the asst. postmaster. George C. Milburn (1849-1923) is buried in the Lone Pine Cemetery in Darby, however no other family member appears to be buried there. I am attempting to contact family members in regard to cemetery plots still owned by that family.
Please contact me at gramma@bitterroot.com if you have any information concerning this particular family.
Thanks
Grace Knowles
Darby, Montana
