Sorry I have been so long to respond. I got married last week, so it's been some what of a blur.
I don't think the Mikell's you have listed match up to our Mikell database. I've tried to piece them together, via a timeline I created, but it just doesn't work out.
I did, however, do the Ancestry.com DNA testing, and hopefully we can get a "hit" on whether the Mikell's of Edisto and the Mikell's of the low country in South Carolina were ever kin. Hopefully we can get some idea what country we originated from.
Drop me a line sometime if you want some more info. I have about 5 pages of an old mikell family bible. I think it is in one of the "step" children's basement, a Mr. Nesbit, in Jackson, MS, but when my great grand father 1st wife died, and he married a younger wife, leaving all the children to fend for their self, it created such bad blood that they will not speak to any other the "other" mikell relatives!!!
